What started out as a fun activity for our homeschooled son turned into an idea that built West of Pine Co. and the Young Authors Publishing Program.
As a children's author I understand the beauty of brining your ideas to life. After graduating with my degree in creative writing from The University of Central Florida, I went on a journey of writing and creating that let me to write 8 children books and self-publish them to Amazon KDP. It dawned on one day that it would be such a great lesson and incredible experience to teach my own chowder how to write and publish their own book. We loved doing it together so much that I decided to open the doors for other families to do the same.
Our Belief
We believe that the creative arts are an important part of the childhood experience. Expression of children's thoughts, dreams and imagination build creative, independent and well-rounded adults.
